Viburnum - Pink Beauty Doublefile
Pink Beauty grows 5-8 feet tall and 4-6 feet wide. Viburnum are one of the most outstanding group of shrubs for use in the landscape planting because they are hardy and resistant to serious pests. With its broad branches growing very horizontal, it gives the shrub a tiered appearance. This plant is attractive to bees, butterflies and/or birds. This beauty has spring flowers that open white but quickly turn a beautiful shade of pink. Pink Beauty Doublefile Viburnum, viburnum plicatum 'Pink Beauty', is a shrub for all seasons. It is a horizontally branched shrub that requires full sun to partial shade; moist, well drained soil is best, but can tolerate some clay. Barberry-Red Leaf Japanese As name Barberry implies, this makes an excellent hedge or filler shrub. Barberry bushes are best located in full sun. This plant is tolerant of many types of soil, but will not do well in wet to very moist soils. Ironically, this is never really considered a feature of this plant. |
