Zinnia - Thumbellina Mix

Plant in late spring, 2 weeks after the last average frost date. Thumbellinas prefer full sun and rich, deep, well drained soil. The Zinnia Thumbellina makes great cut and dried flowers. They need to be well watered but not soggy. For long hot summers, nothing beats Zinnias for brilliant bloom color and long blooming period. The small 1 to 2 inch flowers range in colors including white, pink, salmon, rose, red, yellow, orange, lavender, and purple. They are excellent in pots and containers. The Zinnia Thumbellina, 'Zinnia elegans', is a charming extra dwarf Zinnia with flowers that will delight everyone who sees them. Dianthus - Maiden Pink Shrimp The Maiden Pink is used for borders, as an edging, and in rock gardens. Deadhead often, and mulch in cold winter climates. The Dianthus Maiden Pink Shrimp, 'Dianthus deltoides 'Shrimp', has very vivid, crimson-scarlet flowers that appear the first year from seed. The Shrimp Dianthus bloom in the summer for 8 to 10 weeks and will sometimes bloom again in the fall. The flowers are starry wonders with the most vivid color you have ever seen. The Maiden Pink Dianthus prefers full sun and light, sandy, well drained soil that is slightly alkline. Plant in the early spring, 2 to 4 weeks before the average last frost date, or up to 2 months before the first fall frost. Do not over water for best results. The 1/2 to 3/4 inch flowers are star shaped and borne on the ends of 8 to 10 inch stems.
